Overview

This 3 bedroom professionally hand built mudbrick house is located 11 km north of Nowra in Tapitallee, two and a half hours drive from central Sydney on the South Coast of NSW. Situated in beautiful natural bushland on its own block (Torrens title) this peaceful property also shares 9 acres of community land with its neighbours. The passive design and spacious dimensions offer a comfortable lifestyle in both summer and winter. Suitable for entertaining, the living, dining and kitchen areas are comfortable open plan spaces comprising high cathedral ceilings, insulated with  acoustically designed and attractive straw insulated panels.

There are 3 good sized bedrooms, a cottage style tiled bathroom with hand painted tiles, a bath and shower area and separate laundry. The dining area can seat eight comfortably, with an ample breakfast bar separating it from the kitchen which has a modern gas stove and oven for cooking, together with a large pantry cupboard for storage. The toilet is a dry and smell free compost system, easy to maintain and provides excellent compost for the garden. There is also a grey water pre filter system. Electricity is on the grid and hot water is provided by a compact solar heat pump. It is located a short 10 minute drive to shops in Nowra and there is easy access to Jervis Bay, Berry, Kangaroo Valley and local wineries and restaurants in the area.

Afterword

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my house, it is a wonderful home and I have had a rewarding time here.  There is a real sense of community, yet at the same time, as much solitude as you want. With the large regional centre Nowra nearby, there is access to all that that it has to offer, as well as being close to the sea and highlands. There is so much to do here and you can connect with others as much or as little as you wish to, it is up to you. A peaceful natural environment, yet close to everything...it really is a bushland paradise!

If there is anything further you would like to know about the property do not hesitate to contact me as noted above. I am only too happy to answer any questions that you may have.  For your information, the reason I have decided to sell is that my daughter lives in Sydney and I wish to live closer to her.

With regards,
Simone de Haan
